Muktisangram

Mukti Sangram is author's second novel this year. After Wah Aurat a metaphysical novel based on revenge and retribution the author has created a Military Fiction laced with romance and an untiring search for ancestry and parentage by the protagonist who is a young girl with indomitable spirit. The novel spans over three generations spread over various geographies only to converge at a summit of family reunification . The novel vividly captures the India - Pakistan War of 1971 which forms the background of the novel and the emergence of Bangladesh as new nation of hope and aspiration. The novel is based on extensive real-time research and though fictionalized hovers largely around real time happenings .
