This book outlines a multidimensional study of poverty including qualitative indicators of human poverty manifested by hunger malnutrition poor health increased morbidity and mortality due to disease lack or inadequacy of housing unhealthy environment and the threat of erosion social discrimination poor education child labor etc. and the quantitative indicator of poverty which is the lack of income that deprives people of the opportunity to lead a decent and fulfilling life. It is all these different forms of deprivation that differentiate human poverty from monetary poverty. Poverty must be read not only through the analysis of income or consumption but also in terms of access to basic social services. Faced with the resurgence of unemployment the majority of the population devotes itself to the sale of various products as a strategy for surviving and satisfying household needs. This sales strategy is divided into two categories: the first is known as healthy (fair and moral sales) and the second is known as unhealthy (unfair and immoral sales).
