Multi drug therapy used for the management of multiple disorders. Therefore drug interactions are of great concern because doctors and patients are unaware of the risks of toxicities induced due to multiple drugs. It is therefore necessary that physician must prescribe such regimen by adding number of drugs for the treatment of multiple disorders having possibly minimum or less interaction with each other. The potential of combinations drug interaction incidence increases with the age of patient and increased number of drug orders.
