Multiple Moralities and Religions in Post-Soviet Russia

<ul> <li> By considering the centrality of religion in postsocialist Russian everyday life and the various ways in which diverse religious traditions have engaged in explicit moral projects this volume explores the as of yet understudied social phenomenon of the importance of religion in a former atheist country.</li> <li> By critically considering the link between religion and morality this volume contributes to the recent anthropological interest in local moralities.</li> <li> The topical focus of moralities and religions in postsocialist Russia supported by ethnographic research make this edited volume a unique contribution both to the literature on postsocialism and to the literature on religion and moralities.</li></ul>
