Multispecies models for the eastern Bering Sea

In this book we present the role of multiespecies models as tools for Ecosystem Based Fisheries Management. Multispecies models provide complementary information to help improving the management of fishing resources such information include the assessment of the indirect effects of fishing on non target populations improvement of estimates of natural mortality total amount of prey species consumed by predators and estimates of predation mortality. Multispecies models provide useful information supporting the sustainable exploitation of fishing resources in the eastern Bering Sea.
