Murder on the Marne

<p>Edith was a gorgeous and keenly intelligent woman who lived on her boat in a peaceful port on the Marne just outside of Paris. When her body is found in the river beside her boat after a violent storm the police suspect murder and Christina Pastorino a portly middle-aged police officer who is also a gourmet cook </p><p>interviews Edith's colorful fellow boaters. She learns that many of those boaters despised Edith and that Edith had a sinister secret life.</p>
