Murderess

A suite of monologues for 7 women. A mysterious Presenter introduces the stories of six historical women: • Laura Fair killed her married lover in San Francisco in 1870. • Margaret Hossack killed her abusive husband in Warren County Iowa in 1900. • Celia Bryan killed her father who was also her owner in Jacksonville in 1848. • Jane Toppan killed at least eleven patients before she was caught in 1901. • Belle Gunness killed upwards of thirteen people in Indiana between 1903 and 1908. • And of course in Fall River Massachusetts in 1892 Lizzie Borden took an axe... The Presenter gives each of them a score based on her own rather curious criteria revealing in the end why it is that their stories fascinate her so.
