The composition aimed at mirrors the spirit of human freedom. I. Remember is a piece in verses in which there enter three singers one by one then a fourth one at the very end of the piece. II. On Laughter is a dialogue with death an ironic and grotesque dialogue which cocks a snook at death. III. Oleander is a kind of lament with some elements of incantation. The last part is called Tarot as in the game of cards in which one guesses he who knows how to do it. Having a unitary material of construction the whole work is a mosaic of structures in which these structures communicate underground completing themselves complementing themselves replying to the distance maintaining a dialogue all dynamised by an “active” music which like a wave breaks on the shore in order to return. If we were to associate this work with an epoch of time we would call it a blend of the archaic and the present. In this sense we can regard the work at the level of macrostructure as a “heterophonic” fresco in which the overlaid images dance and shout on a background of a multiple transfer of energy adapted in their connections to the great stage of the world”.
