Music In Our Lives

<p><br></p><p>The book entitled Music In Our Lives: My Life In Music And The People Who Inspired It is about my life as an artist musician teacher and spiritual seeker. It is about growing up in Oakland California and about my school life and college life. It's about the cities of Oakland Portland Oregon Philadelphia Pennsylvania and New York City. It's about all the wonderful artists musicians and people I have been able to work with. I talk about some of my personal life my children my wives my love affairs my triumphs and my failures. In this book also are profiles and/or reviews on some</p><p>of the great practitioners of Black American music such as Duke Ellington John Coltrane Miles Davis Stevie Wonder and many others. With this book I hope to inspire up and coming music students and entertain and reminisce with old veteran musicians. This book is about music life love and great people. </p>
