Finally some of the poems express the beauty of nature a child's playful spirit the love of family and the Cheroes of contemporary life. <br><br> Currently Nancy Sack is an English and ESL teacher at Schaumburg High School in the Chicago metropolitan area. The title of her book is an included poem that was inspired by her experiences of her commute on the Eisenhower Expressway known as the Ike. The following is an excerpt from her titled poem: <br><br>Stuck in traffic on the Ike<br>My car inches up like a tired old snail<br>My thoughts begin to wander<br>Hoping my engine won't fail<br><br>Just another day<br>Musing along the Ike<br><br>She recently has been inducted into the International Library of Poetry for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry. She was a semi-finalist in the 2007 Creative Communication Adult Poetry Contest. Nancy Sack has had had several of her poems and prose published in national anthologies and literary magazines throughout her years of teaching. Currently she is published in the National Council of Teachers of English Gallery of Writing and in the online magazine www.thefabulouswoman.com. Nancy lives in Elmhurst Illinois with her two teenage children.<br><br>Her genuine writing is a wonderful compilation of poetry and prose filled with the inconsistencies and the beauties of life. Her thoughtful collection has universal appeal to all who live in this modern age.
