My Act of Worship

My Act of Worship: The Cry of My Heart The Hope of My Faith and His Response to it All is a collection of individual expressions of raw human emotion and authentic discoveries of faith. Each depiction is a journey with God where His Truth is uncovered in a revitalizing way. Some of the writings speak simply to the truth of Gods greatness exposing His masterfully artistic hands of creation. Others provide guidance to the desperate soul who gains enlightenment through spiritual restoration. In either case these writings are real reflections of the human experience. They confront doubt; they acknowledge confusion; they challenge intellect; and in the end they restore our confidence in our Creator our eternal flame of hope. In 2007 I began creative writing as a way to connect with God but as my career in emergency services has progressed Ive used writing as a way to help understand life and interpret living. My overall goal is that these writings would first be used to glorify God but also help point others towards His Truth and away from their despair. -Jason
