My Appa’s Heartbeats

<p>Every child has a hero in life. For most children it is the father. Dr Manu Pattar's narrative My Appa's Heartbeats is a tribute he pays to his father on his 70th Birthday. He recounts instances of his father sharing his experiences which began to gain significance as he grew up to be a mature adult. He credits his growth to his father whom he addresses as ‘Appa’.</p><p>Mr. Gangappa Pattar who is the real hero of this book comes across as a simple humble person with a great heart fortitude courage and an uncompromising spirit. The book provides glimpses of his life to bring out different aspects of his personality.
