My Brick House

This is the story of Carol's life growing up in Detroit daughter of a radio actress. Her husband was a writer adventurer and private pilot who moved the family a lot. When they were dating she told him she longed to live in a brick house on a nice street with big trees. He on the other hand had always envisioned everything he owned in the trunk of his car. Most of their marriage was her quest for her goal of permanency represented by the brick house of her childhood.
