There are many poems describing the devastating results of the 1980s 10-year drought in the rural municipality of Monet and how it affected both himself and others.</p><p>It describes with clarity the detachment that our society has with those who provide food for our hungry world. These poems will lift your spirits make you laugh and bring you to tears as they are written with such passion and honesty that you can almost feel the author reading them to you.
