My Demons and Me

Diagnosed at 28 with CPTSD she learned how her past shaped or rather diminished who she was at her core. At 29 she took her first steps onto her self-discovery journey. Cadence found poetry helped her to uncover and understand the complexity of her hidden emotions patterns past relationships and self. Poetry has given Cadence back her voice that was once rendered silent. My Demons and Me; and Alchemist's Journey is a poetic memoir of her healing journey from the effects of a childhood riddled with chronic abuse and trauma.</span></p>
