About The Book

Through this work I allow myself to exhume the pathologies of the degeneration of the Congolese society and the remanences of the psycho-traumatic historical episodes in order to paint with delicacy the picture of the current Congolese man.Indeed this enterprise was born in the early days of colonialism. Looking at this period more closely I finally reaffirm that the Western system orchestrated the cultural stripping of the Congolese man to make him a simple instrument of fields instead of making him a force for change or progress. The rebirth of the Congolese man is largely dependent on the commitment of our people. A political commitment that is accompanied by a refined elitist ambition. We must study politics not as a pernicious or vain ambition or as an ambition to conquer an El Dorado. Rather we must study politics in its dimension of knowledge and mastery of major global issues to occupy a place of choice in the concert of nations.
