Prof. R.B. Misra an eminent mathematician has taught at 24 universities worldwide and served as the senior-most former Vice-Chancellor of Dr. RML Avadh University Ayodhya. He has an extensive academic record with 312 publications including research papers reviews books and articles. He held prestigious roles such as a DAAD Fellow at Bonn University and Visiting Professor at institutions like the University of Turin and ICTP Trieste.Prof. Misra also contributed in administrative capacities globally and was honored as an honorary Colonel in the NCC. Fluent in multiple languages his work in Finsler Geometry is internationally recognized. He represented India at key global conferences and lectured at top institutions. He is a Vice-President of the Tensor Society of India and a Fellow of the International Academy of Physical Sciences featured in international directories of distinguished leaders. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Allahabad collaborated with renowned scientists and maintains a happy family life with five children and nine grandchildren.
