My faith as an African theologian today

The framework of this book traces the path of a global African Christianity as a project for the world of today in a perspective of inter-foundation of Christian confessions of faith open to the cultural dynamics of different spiritual matrices of humanity. In the current context of the quest for an alter-globalization that is equal to the great dreams and hopes of the people this path is part of the new challenges of the mission of the Christian communities of the African continent. For Christians today the time has come to break free from the chains in which sterile religious confessions and their vague dogmatics lock them up and make them deeply fragile. It is time to build a new space of faith in a spiritual pan-Africanism capable of uniting believers around the imperatives of the rebirth of Africa today in a new imagination for a new dynamic of African life.
