My God Can Deliver

<p>The late Calverine McLaughlin Hill was known by family and friends as a person who loved the Lord with all her heart and walked closely with Him each day. Even though her husband did not become a Christian and start attending church until years later Calverine faithfully took her four children to church services by herself. She was a dedicated youth leader and Sunday school teacher who rejoiced to see many of her students eventually enter ministry. Later in her life she taught adults in Sunday school where she continued to be recognized for her deep love for and knowledge of God's Word.</p><p>In a posthumous collection her daughter Carol shares songs (with chord notations) and poems that her mother began writing in the early seventies. Calverine had carefully documented in spiral notebooks the lyrics and chords of her songs that were usually inspired by her personal experiences or when her heart was burdened for someone else. Her writings touch on a variety of spiritual subjects and themes that include why God delivers why all believers have a home beyond sin and pain why Jesus wept why we are safe in the Lord's hands and many more.</p><p>My God Can Deliver is an inspirational compilation of songs and poems shared posthumously to remind Christians everywhere that God is good.</p>
