<p>A book composed of letters written over seventy years ago from a mother in Amsterdam to her daughter in London&nbsp;via an intermediary in Geneva with the inclusion of copies of the official Red Cross Cards.</p><p>Through this one sided correspondence we learn from the mother&#39;s letters&nbsp;the life and times of her family in London from the letters we do not see.</p><p>To bring a deeper understanding of life after the Nazi invasion there is a continuing account over time of the the increasing severe restrictions imposed by the occupying forces on the population of the Netherlands.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
