My Horse One Summer

Moriah went to visit her aunt and uncle and grandparents on Vancouver Island like she has done every summer. On the way she saw a horse run across the highway. She wondered about that horse for most of the day. The next day she went to that same spot walked into the forest and found the horse. It came running towards her. Somehow the horse responded to Moriah even though it was a wild horse. She secretly brought him to a shed near her aunt's house and tamed it. She named him Starlight. Later when her parents found out her dad insisted Starlight be turned back into the wild. Moriah didn't think so but what will she do? Before Starlight is gone for good? And she will never see him again! Her friend knew about a horse show. Moriah dreamed of entering Starlight hoping to win. Will she get the chance to win? Will she get what she has always wanted since she was 7 years old - a horse of her own? Now she has a chance but will she get what she has dreamed of?
