Hachsharat Ha'Avreichim was written by Rabbi Kalonymus Kalmish Shapira of Piaseczna during his time in the Warsaw Ghetto (1939-1943). The Piaseczner Rebbe penned this famous work in order to prepare dedicated students of Torah for a life of Hasidic devotion and it it he offers practical contemplative techniques to cultivate the mind and heart.
