My Journey through Breast Cancer

<p class=ql-align-justify><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 at the age of 50. To me it was a death sentence as I watched my beloved mother die of this dreaded disease when I was only 12. When the doctor gave me the results of my needle biopsy I had a choice to make. I was not ready to die but didn't want to use my energy fighting either so I decided that I would learn from this disease take from it what I could and so I did.</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Cancer taught me so much. It taught me how very precious life is and how much I had taken for granted. Cancer helped me renew old friendships make new ones and renew my relationships with family and God. I thank God every day for giving me that opportunity even coming at such a high cost.</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Cancer came as a thief in the night to destroy me but instead I have used it to enhance my life. I hope this book will inspire you to do the same. The road has not been easy but oh so worthwhile. I pray that God will create a miracle in your life as well and that you will be the victor in the end.</span></p><p></p>
