Born to a family of British diplomats during WWII Venetia Rumbold was never expected to reach adulthood. Struck with a life‐threatening encephalitis at the age of eight her journey with God began when she was miraculously healed six years later. Remarkably she grew up to work as a nurse in England before discovering the Youth With A Mission movement (YWAM). She served as a missionary with YWAM for over a decade helping to establish vital ministries for the underprivileged in Colombia and Peru. This book is the story of an invasion - God coming into a life of illness. But for Venetia miraculous healing was just the beginning. Her call to South America taught her slowly what it means to live in Gods kingdom. God creates a beautiful story from any life that belongs to him.
