I suddenly found myself immobilized in confusion. I didnt know how to work the remote. My hands felt heavy and clumsy. Again I was a woman possessed. I stared down at my hands illuminated by the light of the television and looked as the muscles of my fingers tried to change the channel. Nothing. It was like I was looking at the hand of another person. I was unnerved to be unable to use a familiar object; I was no longer the captain of my body. After returning home from the hospital with her newborn baby boy Logan something feels amiss. It should be the happiest time of Mariannes life but she finds herself suffering strange spells. Everything comes to a head when Marianne falls in the bathroom and has a stroke with her children in the next room. With a single-minded determination only a young mother can conjure Marianne struggles to find answers and fights to survive for the sake of her three children.
