<p>As I sit and begin to write these lines</p><p>I'm reminded of a much earlier time</p><p>I must have been 8 when I first began</p><p>To create prose with a pen in my hand</p><p>Although most times it was done for fun</p><p>Who'd have guessed one day a writer I'd become</p><p>So I've laid myself bare all the triumphs and trials</p><p>The trauma the hurt the frowns and the smiles</p><p>Let these words be a beacon and offer insight</p><p>When you're alone in the darkness and looking for light</p><p>I'm certainly grateful that you took the time</p><p>To share my experiences I've put into rhyme</p><p><br></p><p>The Crystal Rose is a captivating collection of poetry and art.
