My Lifetime Tour of Duty

This memoir is a lifetime journey of a man from childhood through his teenage years including his service in the Marine Corp that began in 1966 his participation in the conflict in Vietnam in 1968-1969 and continues to his discharge in 1972. Unable to speak of it for decades his life progressed with the memories of his service time buried. Through several marriages and raising five children he finally was moved to write his story after a close childhood friend passed away. Now his story includes the life of a son a young man a soldier a husband and a father. Retired in 2012 after a life fully lived he decided to finally tell the 'entire' story which began in 2022 some of which has never been told before.
