They soon had to get out of town and they went to Oklahoma City where their lives went from terrible to worse. On Second Street the neighborhood could not tolerate having this white man among then so despite the terror they still loved each other until Robert found his woman in a bar with a strange man. His rage forced him to take action take their baby from her and marry a white woman. You can only imagine what would happen next.
