My Mediterranean Dream World

<p><em> </em>A young Westerner travels to Japan in the early 1980s and falls in love with the country its people and life in the region. What begins as a short visit turns into a decades long stay filled with teaching travel relationships and adventure across East Asia.</p><p>As the years pass both he and the region change. Eventually unable to sustain the life he once knew he realizes it is time to leave. With nothing waiting for him in the United States he instead inherits a share of property in Italy his ancestral homeland.</p><p>Relocating there he builds a new life among locals using his experience in Asia to help attract visitors and support small tourism businesses. Living alone but surrounded by friends he becomes a storyteller sharing memories of his extraordinary past while quietly rediscovering meaning in the present.</p>
