My Name Is Dick

<p>When Dick Sherrod was growing up his name was perfectly acceptable. Most kids even learned to read from books with his name in the title.  As Dick became an adult all that changed.  And Dick couldn’t choose to go by Richard because for him Dick isn’t a nickname it IS his name.
