My Pirate Summer

<p></p><p>This well-written story is inspired by the true escapades of Captain Dan Roaring Dan Seavey who sailed the <em>Wanderer </em>commercial schooner operating in Lake Michigan in the early 20<sup>th</sup> century. Seavey's legitimate shipping operations were overshadowed by his nefarious activities including hijacking boats stealing cargo smuggling illegal goods and operating a floating brothel. In the novel C.J. Hagstrom brings to life the story of this Great Lakes pirate in an engaging and fast-moving narrative with well-developed and interesting characters. </p>
