What do you do after the untimely death of a much-loved family member when you can't be near to help one another heal? I decided to write a book - about me. Following the death of my cousin Angie I found myself promptly awakened to the swift passage of time and had come to the realization that for the past quarter century I had neglected my family while in search of adventure and a career. Although I had found success as an airline pilot and had enjoyed many travels and experiences I had missed spending time with most of my family; we loved one another yet my absence had undoubtedly presented me as merely a shell - my substance unknown. With no ability to turn back the clock so that we might be acquainted through shared time the best I could do was to share this story of me with those I love.
