<p><em>MY SONG: Moving from Childhood Abuse to Gratitude </em>tells the story of a spiritual journey. A crazy up and down slightly deranged journey of the author's life until her mid-70s. It is one she chose to take and in some instances one circumstances brought her to. The author thinks we always have a choice of how to navigate our life journey and what to make of it. The short story told here is a transformation from a child of abuse to a woman healer. The longer story describes the steps decisions and people along the way who made the whole thing possible. This book includes growing up in a big family marriage and children divorce and single parenting laughter love music and friendship but also childhood trauma dreams visions madness that sent her to a psychiatric hospital and spiritual awakening. Her chosen fields of study in psychology energy medicine and spiritual emergence inform the perspectives on her journey.</p>
