<p><span style=color: rgba(38 38 38 1)>Miyoke Duncan served in the United States Army for four years where she took an interest in writing.&nbsp;Writing was her utopia when the military became stressful.&nbsp;She had to put writing on the back burner because of life's distractions.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style=color: rgba(38 38 38 1)>She moved to Atlanta Ga and became a Georgia Peach and started working for the United States Postal Service (USPS).&nbsp;She started volunteering with Hosea Feed the Hungry which became one of her priorities because it allowed her to help those less fortunate.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(38 38 38 1)>She relocated back to her home town of Jacksonville FL. where she got married got a divorce and lived with her two dogs.&nbsp;&nbsp;In her spare time she started investing in real estate and interior decorating.&nbsp;She also began volunteering with the Clara White Mission.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(38 38 38 1)>Miyoke was challenged with caring for her mother without fair warning.&nbsp;It was later discovered her mother had dementia which forced her into a journey of uncertainties.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style=color: rgba(38 38 38 1)>She retired from the USPS and moved back to Atlanta Ga where she was able to find a quiet spot nestled under a shaded tree to tell her story.&nbsp;Miyoke has reconnected with her passion for writing.&nbsp;</span></p>
