My Sweet French Summer

<p><strong>If only summer could last forever...</strong></p><p>Fleeing pain and misery Rissa Young quits her job as a journalist leaves her Philadelphia apartment behind and goes backpacking in Europe. Her streak of bad luck follows her to France when she falls victim to a con game. Destitute and alone Rissa is befriended by Frankie a young girl who convinces her to stay with her family in the charming coastal town of Perpignan.</p><p>Wealthy boat-builder Evan Maynard allows her to stay...but only grudgingly. He's convinced that the woman his sister has brought into their luxurious home is just another of the hangers-on and opportunists Frankie always attracts.</p><p>Once he realizes that Rissa is neither he concocts a plan to help his sister through the rebellious phase she's been stuck in since their parents' tragic disappearance. The plan seems to work-until Frankie's impulsive nature triggers a frantic search all the way to Barcelona where Rissa and Evan must risk everything that matters to save her.</p><p>The journey is long and fraught with emotion but on the way they just might discover the true meaning of love and loss.</p>
