When Starting This Story Some Three Years Ago I Was Never Sure Whether I Had The Ability Or The Stomach To Awaken 'All' Of My Past Memories But I'M Glad That I Did. I Am Also Conscious Of The Fact That The Written Word Is A Very Powerful Tool And With This In Mind I Have Stuck To The Truth However Painful At Times But Equally Uplifting And Amusing. I Have Tried Not To Become Judge And Jury And Have Been Mindful Of The Fact That Most Of The People I Have Written About Are Dead And Therefore Unable To Defend Themselves Or Give Themselves A Pat On The Back. These Memories Have Been Written As Seen Through My Eyes Only And Are As Correct As My Memory Recalls Luckily I'Ve Been Blessed With A Very Good Memory. For Those Who Have Followed My Story From Its Start You Will Recall That My Mother Died During The Early Years Of World War Two And That I Had Always Felt That The Full Details Of Her Passing Contained A Degree Of Mystery. The Family Always Seemed To Keep Me In The Dark And When The Cause Of Death Was Revealed To Me I Understood Why.
