My Year On the Road: How the Tubbs Fire Sent us to Europe and the Camp Fire Brought Us Home

The Tubbs Fire of 2017 destroyed our doctors house but not ours. Husband and I rented our home to him and his family while we traveled for thirteen months. We headed out with a list of places we wanted to see with the idea that we would become those Americans living in some far-off place. This is the story of how we did it the mistakes we made the joys we experienced the lessons we learned.
