Mystery of the Man in the Mirror

<p>Not since Alan Parker's film <em>Bugsy Malone</em> has there been such an engaging story of middle-aged kids depicted as 1930s adults.</p><p>The story begins in modern day when Jake 13 and Darlene 10 find a magical skeleton key that opens a door to the past. Entering the room they encounter the ghost of a private detective Archer Wolfe trapped in a mirror since 1937 the day of his execution for murder. He claims to be wrongly accused and seeks the help of Jake and Darlene to absolve him of the crime. To make this happen Jake and Darlene take on the roles of adult private detectives as they travel through his world of 1939 Los Angeles. In their quest they confront the ghosts of gangsters and their molls while searching for the actual killer in an effort to obtain a confession that will clear Archer Wolfe of the murder and restore his good name.</p><p>This is a story for all ages from middle school to adults who enjoy a good noir novel.</p>
