Mysticism and Social Justice

<p>The primary scope of these articles is to contextualize their mystical writings and life events in their own historical times. The aim of this volume is to expand on the existing literature currently available and to make clear why these mystics from different cultures and religious traditions were involved in the most urgent political economic social and religious issues in their times. The overall focus of this issue is to examine their contemplative mystical spiritual prophetic social political artistic and religious legacies in greater depth.
