<p>At some point in life everyone experiences true love but we often mistakenly equate love with virginity. What if the person we love is not a virgin? Nowhere in any religious scripture is it stated that love should be based on virginity. While we&rsquo;ve made progress by eliminating societal evils like child marriage and the dowry system the concept of virginity still lingers. The idea of virginity in love is in fact an irony.</p><p>The notion of virginity has led many relationships to end in divorce and subjected countless women to unimaginable suffering.</p>
