It is a story about finding meaning in the mundane things. It is a story about finding contentment in friendship whether or not the world can ever be safe.</p><p>It is the love story about the rescue of one small child.</p><p>It could almost be a platonic romance if we make the word romance into no more than a description of simple love of desperate heartache of the undefinable need to be with another and to make that other happy.</p><p>It is a story of found family from the perspective of a child who has no concept of family.</p><p> </p><p>All intimate interactions in this story are either expressions of comfort and assurance or practical actions of care.</p><p>All love expressed in this story is completely platonic.</p>
