NANO LAB PRIMER

As Nanoscience is an emerging and research-based subject with limited availability of relevant books in the market stakeholders in the science stream face challenges. To address this gap and drawing upon our years of exposure and experience in the field we have prepared a guidebook titled Nanolab Primer. This guidebook is intended to assist students by providing comprehensive support for Nano Science and Technology. It caters to the needs of B.Sc students aiming to grasp the fundamentals M.Sc students seeking to deepen their knowledge and research scholars at the forefront of innovation. The objective of Nanolab Primer is to empower individuals venturing into the fascinating realm of nanotechnology. The laboratory work in nanoscience and technology demands a contemporary infrastructure including advanced instrumentation and costly chemicals. However an extensive literature survey reveals numerous simple and cost-effective methods for fabricating nanostructured materials. This book aims to encompass the majority of laboratory procedures for synthesizing and characterizing nanomaterials included in the syllabi of Indian universities. Most of the fabrication processes are chemical and biological and they can be easily procured in college or university-level laboratories. Many of the synthesis methods have been rigorously tested in our laboratory and the results have been documented in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
