NASHA MUKT BHARAT ABHIYAN

Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) was launched to achieve the goal of a sustainable world free of substance abuse.Most prevalent types of addictions and their disruptive mental disorders are discussed in the book.To tackle the issue of Substance Abuse and a vision to make India Drug Free A number of Nasha Mukti Kendra were established in 272 districts identified as most vulnerable in terms of usage of drugs in the country.District Level Nasha Mukt Committees were constituted for implementation of the Nasha Mukta Bharat Abhiyan. The State Level Committees were constituted to monitor the Abhiyan Activities.As the kids in the age group of 10-17 years are more vulnerable awareness generation programs focussing on higher educational institutions university campuses and schools are initiated.
