Since the nineteenth century the concepts of nation-states and nationalism have been taking concrete shapes. To grow into a nation particularly in Asia there have been various experiments after the World Wars with the growing demands for self-determination against imperialism and colonialism. Hence there is a need for continuous analysis about these struggles trials and tribulations and consequent fault-lines towards the goals of nationalism. Such analysis is not very easy but this book written in a lucid style might be of interest to students and scholars of the subject since we all care for the healthy growth of nationalism around us.
