Natural Monopoly Public Trust and Vested Interests in Power Sector

This work was initially published in 2014 in the journal published by Institute of Public Policy Islamabad Pakistan. Things have not changed much since after in either of the contexts discussed in this work. The world at large is facing the looming threat of energy crisis while those responsible to take the corrective measures for production and consumption of energy specifically in the power sector appear to have frequent resort to tinkering rather than fine tuning.
