Deborah Elizabeth Smith also-known-as Preemie was born in a Catholic Hospital named Mother Mary's Hospital to a drug addictive mother who succumbed to death the exact moment Preemie burst into the world. Preemie's mother embraced death's warmth; it had been searching for her for a long time. Her mother had lived a life filled with three life's terms of anguish rejection guilt and pain. At the very moment of Preemie's mother's death Preemie felt the pinch of the darts. The devil had redirected his aim. Preemie became his imminent target. Physically and emotionally abused Preemie dwelt in the darkness. Her world was bleak. No one seemed to notice or care. Preemie finds and loses love on her journey. But her utlimate task is yet to be conquered.
