About The Book

This Book deals Quantum Mechanics at its best with t-J model in mean field approximation that predicts three phases viz. nematic d-wave RVB and normal phase. Beyond mean field approximation the effect of fluctuations is taken into consideration using a local self energy ansatz where an analogy between the t-J Model and the X-ray edge problem is considered and detailed.  Two particle Green’s function that accounts charge and spin susceptibility is used for further calculations to predict scattering cross section for resonant inelastic X-ray scattering.
