A butchered priest is left like a sacrificial offering on his own altar in quiet Spokane Washington. The murder is so savage so ritualistic it catches national attention. Network television reporter Stefanie Storm catches the assignment. But she quickly learns Father George Pannos is anything but a quiet man of the cloth. Just when it seems the case is cold the killer strikes again sucking Stefanie into a world of betrayal secrets and lies that snakes across the Northwest and sixty years of hard time everyone but a killer bent on revenge wants forgotten. In the end NEMESIS questions whether compassion can outlast retribution and whether love can survive in the stoniest of hearts.
