Colorectal cancer is the fourth most frequently diagnosed cancer and the second leading cause of death in the United states.The incidence of rectal cancer in younger than 50 years has been increasing and is clinically pathologically and genetically different in such age group. Well assessment of rectal cancer patients before selection type of therapy is very critical to select whom patient will benefit from NACRT gain functional preservation at time of surgery and raise the probability of overall survival.
