NEONATAL MORBIDITY AND MORTALITY

Rwanda has registered tremendous achievements in the health sector and one of the examples is reduction of 46% mortality of neonates in the last decade. This study recommends to Rwanda''s Ministry of Health Rwanda Biomedical Center and district health unit to work together to redefine maternal and child health interventions that will meet the goal of achieving 10 or fewer newborns deaths per 1000 live births and give accreditation to health posts to offer delivery services for pregnant mothers.
